Q: How often does the ferry operate between Christiansted and the cay?
A: The ferry operates roughly every 10 minutes from 6:00am until 12 midnight. After those hours, please use the number provided to you at check-in to get in touch with the boat captain on duty.

Q: I have a rental car. Do you have a parking lot for guests?
A: Unfortunately we do not have guest parking available. There is street parking available usually on Company or Queen Street. There are also parking lots available near the seaport which is near Strand Street. Remember that parking is at your own risk and do not leave valuables in your car.

Q: I wish to arrange for a transfer to the Hotel on the Cay directly thru you. How do I do that?
A: Click on the “Contact Us” tab above. Then click on the “Taxi Request” tab. Fill out the form with your information. A member of our staff will be in contact with you. Be sure you have an acknowledgement and voucher in hand when you get to St. Croix as you will be unable to obtain the pre-arranged transportation without it.

Q: I am a timeshare owner and have a question about my week. Can you assist me?
A: Please contact the front desk at 340-773-2035 for assistance.

Q: Do you offer wedding packages?
A: At present we do not offer wedding packages. We would be happy to assist you with your hotel room and function space needs. You are welcome to use your preferred wedding planner at our facility.

Q: Do you offer special discounted rates (I.e.: local, military, senior citizen, AAA, interline)
A: From time-to-time we offer special rates. Please use the reservation system on this website to search for your desired rate. Please keep in mind that you will need to prove your eligibility at time of check-in. If you are unable to offer verification, you may be subject to paying the prevailing rack rate.

Q: Is is safe to make a booking directly with you on-line?
A: When you made a direct reservation with us, we use a secure reservations portal for transmission of your data. We send email confirmations of direct reservations electronically for your convenience. Hotel on the Cay keeps an official record of all electronic reservations. We honor our official record only and will disregard any alterations to confirmations that may have been made after we sent it to you.

Q: How far in advance can I book a reservation with you?
A: At present we are accepting reservations thru December 31, 2013.

Terms & Policies

Deposits:

  • We require a one night deposit during Low Season and a two nights deposit during High Season.
  • Unless restricted by the room rate you purchased, you may cancel your reservation until 14 days prior without penalty.
  • Special events at the hotel or on the island may require special deposit requirements. Call us for details.


Refunds:

  • Deposits made for event rental space are non-refundable. No exceptions
  • No show or early check outs are not eligible for refund.
